Native of Florida and received his Bachelor of Arts from Florida International University in 2015, a Master of Music in opera performance from The University of Kansas in 2018, an Artist Diploma from the Hartt School of Music in 2020. Mr Ryan is currently a Doctorate of Musical Arts Graduate Assistant at Louisiana State University. Recent engagements include, Dr. Dulcamara with LSU Opera, Joseph Kubrot in Künneke’s Das Vetter aus Dingsda with The University of Memphis, Sarastro with Lyric Opera Studio Weimar, Commendatore with the Vienna Opera Festival, Commendatore with Theater Rudolstadt, Colline with Opera Connecticut, and Dr. Grenvil with Opera Naples. He has performed the Jailer in Tosca with Florida Grand Opera, and had solo engagements with The Master Chorale of South Florida, The Rhodes College Master Singers, and The Symphony of the Americas. Dennis is looking forward to singing the Donkey and Messenger in Mark Adamo’s Becoming Santa Claus with Opera Louisiane this December.
