Soprano Yimo Li, from China, She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance at Louisiana State University, where she studies with Robert Grayson and Paul Groves with a Graduate Assistantship.

Her operatic experience includes covering Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus at LSU, performing Micaëla with Chicago Summer Opera, and appearing as Furia I in La Calisto in New York. She was a semifinalist in the 2022 Premier Foundation Competition and has received numerous international vocal competition awards, including first prize at the Hong Kong Bauhinia International Vocal Competition.

She currently serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Applied Voice at LSU. She is honored to be selected as a Baton Rouge Opera Guild Scholar for the 2026–2027 academic year and is grateful for the Guild’s generous support.
